We filmed a shot in the small woods on the school field, that wasn't originally from our storyboard. Sian had the idea to get a shot as if someone is looking at us from behind a tree, so Ollie started by holding the camera so that we couldn't be seen at first, then he slowly moved the camera to the left until we were visible. We got this shot in only a few takes.
While we were on the field we filmed a shot of Sian standing in the same place where we shot previously. We had Sian standing on her own to mirror the earlier shot where we were stood holding hands and to show that we are getting more distant from one another.
To show the other half of the friendship, we filmed a shot in the canteen, where I am alone to show that my character is isolated. We decided not to use this shot in our final film.
